Phil Campbell has been on the road for seven straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Marion County Red Raiders at 3:00 p.m. Phil Campbell will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 225th, while Marion County is ranked 86th).
Phil Campbell fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Dora on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 60-53 to the Bulldogs.
Meanwhile, Marion County didn't have too much trouble with Brilliant at home on Friday as they won 50-34.
Phil Campbell has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Marion County, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
