Aquin Catholic strolled past Eastland with points to spare, taking the game 66-51. The win was nothing new for Aquin Catholic as they're now sitting on four straight.
It was another big night for Paityn London, who scored 25 points along with eight assists and seven steals. London is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Hanna Broge, who scored ten points along with five steals.
Aquin Catholic's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Eastland, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.
Aquin Catholic will head out on the road to face off against Lena-Winslow at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lena-Winslow and Aquin Catholic are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Eastland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Forreston at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Forreston will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings (they are ranked 597th, while Eastland is ranked 231st).
