The Thief River Falls Prowlers had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 59-51 win over Frazee on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Thief River Falls also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
It was another big night for Caleb Rosendahl, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten assists. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Gannon Zutz, who scored 17 points.
Thief River Falls' win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-9. As for Frazee, they bumped their record down to 3-10 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
Thief River Falls will take on East Grand Forks at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Grand Forks knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 15 contests -- so hopefully Thief River Falls likes a good challenge. As for Frazee, they will head out on the road to face off against Crookston at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Minnesota (Crookston is ranked 349th, while Frazee is ranked 340th).
