Berne Union is a perfect 4-0 against Bishop Rosecrans since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Berne Union is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Harvest Prep get on the board and left with a 21-0 win on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Rockets, who have now won four matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.
Josilyn Hedges and Reese Besco made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Hedges tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Besco pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. At bat, Hedges scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances, while Besco scored a run while going 1-for-3. That stolen base was Hedges' first of the season.
In other batting news, Kori Hoplite was a standout: she scored three runs while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylee North, who scored three runs while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.

Ellie Worden made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Kate Ward, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Berne Union has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.3 hits per game. However, it's not like Bishop Rosecrans struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.2 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Berne Union's way against Bishop Rosecrans in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Berne Union made off with an 18-8 win. Do the Rockets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bishops turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
