Jarrett Arias put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April of 2024 on Thursday. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. West Campus is undefeated when Arias posts eight or more strikeouts, but 4-5 otherwise.

Arias' strong effort led West Campus over Johnson and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. West Campus is 8-1 against Johnson going back to May of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
