The Susquehannock Warriors will head out on the road to challenge the Bermudian Springs Eagles at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Susquehannock is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.
While Susquehannock's win against York Suburban wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors won by a run and slipped past the Trojans 5-4. The victory was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Andrew Unglesbee made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Susquehannock is undefeated when Unglesbee allows one or fewer earned runs, but 5-6 otherwise. Unglesbee was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one double.
In other batting news, Drew Hargest was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Bermudian Springs had already won 13 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it 14 on Monday. They blew past the Fighting Irish 17-1. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.
Skyler Gentzler looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Teegan Byers was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Keller, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs and four RBI.
Bermudian Springs was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .571. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matches.
Bermudian Springs' win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Susquehannock, their record now sits at 9-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Susquehannock has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Bermudian Springs struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Susquehannock took their win against Bermudian Springs in their previous matchup back in May of 2022 by a conclusive 7-0 score. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
