It was another big night for Eddy Hyppolite jr., who scored 16 points along with six assists and three blocks. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. JaDarrin Thomas was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with two steals.
Kathleen's loss came despite strong showings from Jaiziah Battle and Jeremy Nixon. Battle scored 15 points, while Nixon scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Jaiquan Torrence, who scored nine points.
Ridge Community's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-8. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. Ridge Community will look to defend their home court on Friday against Davenport at 8:00 p.m. As for Kathleen, they will head out on the road to square off against Bartow at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bartow has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 190 points over their last three matches.
