Noelle Mengel continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 7 of 11from beyond the arc on her way to 27 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Izellah Kendrick, who posted seven points in addition to ten boards and three steals.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Durant). They claimed a resounding 69-34 win over Brandon. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 22 points or more this season.
Bloomingdale better keep an eye on Mikaiah Hallback. She was instrumental in Durant's win, dropping a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Bloomingdale has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 33.6 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Durant struggles in that department as they've been averaging 42.9 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Bloomingdale took their victory against Durant in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 48-23. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Randall, who went 6 of 12 on her way to 12 points in addition to eight boards and seven steals. Now that she's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Bloomingdale still be able to contain Randall? There's only one way to find out.
