After a string of three wins, Delavan's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Athens Warriors by a score of 2-1. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Delavan saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kelton Nafziger, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double. Colton Miller also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Delavan's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Athens, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
