The Mardela Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Parkside Rams at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Two weeks ago, Mardela earned a 20-13 victory over Holly Grove Christian. The win was just what Mardela needed coming off of a 51-10 loss in their prior game.
Meanwhile, Parkside stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They really took it to Pocomoke for the full four quarters, racking up a 77-36 victory on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-16.
Mardela's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5. As for Parkside, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2.
Mardela was taken down by Parkside 79-4 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Parkside's Zion Oge, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Now that Mardela knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
