It was a good run, but Thurgood Marshall unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They received a blow as they fell 59-42 to the Tri-Village Patriots. The Cougars were down 43-20 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Thurgood Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Tri-Village, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Thurgood Marshall will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Harvest Prep at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for Tri-Village, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Legacy Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tri-Village knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Legacy Christian Academy likes a good challenge.
