After two games on the road, Marion County is heading back home. They will take on The Cascade Champions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Marion County is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Cascade in Tennessee (Marion County is ranked 70th, while Cascade is ranked 201st).
Marion County can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They blew past Cannon County 42-7 on the road.
Marion County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brody Leonard, who rushed for 46 yards and two touchdowns. EJ Wilson was another key contributor, gaining 85 total yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Cascade was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 15-9 to Fayetteville.
Marion County's victory was their ninth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 9-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 30.6 points per game. As for Cascade, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
