It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Dudley had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with a 20-7 victory over the Robinson Bulldogs. The win was just business as usual for the Panthers, who after 13 games remain undefeated this season.
It was another big night for Koredell Bartley, who rushed for 105 yards and one touchdown, and also picked up 75 receiving yards. His longest rush was for an incredible 90 yards.
Another reason for the win was Dudley's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for seven sacks. Robinson's QB won't forget Jalile Elliott anytime soon given he sacked him four times. Those four sacks gave Elliott a new career-high. Jordyn Ratliff was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, forcing one fumble, and making seven total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Dudley pushed their record up to 13-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 43.2 points. As for Robinson, with the defeat, they broke their 12-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-1.
Dudley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 39-13 loss against West Charlotte on the 6th. Robinson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
