The Central Catholic Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They lost to Terrebonne at home by a decisive 55-36 margin. Central Catholic was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Terrebonne apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Terrebonne to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rhanige Smith, who scored 11 points along with 3 steals. The contest was Smith's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Brayden Verdin, who scored 12 points along with 3 steals.
Central Catholic has fallen quite a ways from their 26-9 record last season and are now at 1-3. As for Terrebonne, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Catholic will face off against Vermilion Catholic on Tuesday. Terrebonne is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Brusly at 5:00 p.m. on December 12th.
