The Carroll Eagles won the last time they faced the Daleville Warhawks, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Carroll enjoyed a cozy 67-48 win over Daleville. That looming 67-48 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Carroll yet this season.
Peyton Plott was his usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Culver, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.
Carroll's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Daleville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.
Carroll will be playing in front of their home fans against Geneva at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Geneva is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games. As for Daleville, they will head out on the road to face off against Barbour County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Barbour County comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
