The Chazy Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Schroon Lake Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. Chazy will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak alive.
In what's become a running theme this season, Chazy gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They put the hurt on Indian Lake Central with a sharp 49-27 win. With Chazy ahead 31-10 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Chazy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Emma Howell led the charge by scoring 18 points. Another player making a difference was Kaelyn Rentas, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, everything went Schroon Lake's way against Lake Placid on Tuesday as Schroon Lake made off with a 41-16 win. Schroon Lake pushed the score to 33-6 by the end of the third, a deficit Lake Placid cut but never quite recovered from.
Chazy's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Schroon Lake, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.
Chazy strolled past Schroon Lake when the teams last played back in January by a score of 46-30. Does Chazy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Schroon Lake turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
