Baseball Recap: West Extends Winning Streak to Three

West had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They blew past the Southeast Golden Buffalo 14-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-0 on Monday.

West pushed their record up to 15-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Southeast, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, West and Southeast will both be playing Heights the next time they take the field. The Golden Buffalo will head out to face the Falcons at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Pioneers will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on the 14th.
