There's no place like home for the Terrell County Greenwave, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They breezed by Randolph-Clay at home to the tune of 71-43 on Friday. Terrell County pushed the score to 56-31 by the end of the third, a deficit the Red Devils had little chance of recovering from.
Terrell County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Shaheed Huckaby, who scored 19 points. Michael Carter was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
When it comes to explaining why Randolph-Clay lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jaleen Gibson. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyrion Smith, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Terrell County pushed their record up to 12-12 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.3 points per game. As for Randolph-Clay, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-8.
