Marcos de Niza (Tempe, Ariz.) scored 29 points in the first quarter to secure a big 50-0 victory over Camelback (Phoenix, Ariz.) on Saturday.

Paul Elvira, a Eckley touchdown run, a touchdown pass by Eckley to
Kamron Johnson and a touchdown run by
Mauriece Lee in the quarter.
Marcos de Niza was up 43-0 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Eckley to Elvira in the first quarter.
MN expanded its lead to 50 points entering the fourth quarter. The Tempe school scored once in the quarter on a
Andrew Molina touchdown pass to
Taylor Blankenship.
A 29-point first quarter set the table for the Padres, which coasted the rest of the way for the victory.
Eckley played well for Marcos de Niza in the victory. The junior quarterback threw two touchdowns and ran for one touchdown. He has now scored four touchdowns on the season.
