The Fulton Science Academy Mustangs had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 54-44 victory over Howard on Tuesday. The win was just what Fulton Science Academy needed coming off of a 79-35 loss in their prior match.
It was another big night for Andre Green, Jr., who scored 29 points. That makes it 14 consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Fulton Science Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Samir Noohani, who scored eight points.
Fulton Science Academy's victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-12. As for Howard, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-6.
Fulton Science Academy and Cristo Rey Atlanta will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Cristo Rey Atlanta has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 543 points over their last eight matchups. As for Howard, they will be playing at home against Cottage at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Georgia (Howard is ranked 533rd, while Cottage is ranked 550th).
