Despite the loss, Greeley West had strong showings from Jacob Flores, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds, and Andrew Zepeda, who scored 15 points along with three steals.
Greeley West struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Greeley Central's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Martin Mendoza, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mendoza has scored all season. Reid Arlo richardson was another key contributor, going 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 25 points and 1 assist.
Greeley West has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season. As for Greeley Central, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.
