Fans got a thrill when Cooper Free and Konner Harris connected against Buffalo. The connection went for 76 yards, the longest such play in C District 1 (8 Man) this season.
Sharon-Mutual took down the Bison 48-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Free threw for 120 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 119 yards during the win.
Sharon-Mutual's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Trojans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Free has thrown for 386 yards and 7 touchdowns this season, while Ben Cooper has 13 catches for 248 yards. Free also leads the league in rushing with 1,173 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between the Trojans and Balko. Sharon-Mutual comes into the matchup ranked sixth in the state, while the Bison ranks 14th.
Balko led C District 1 (8 Man) in scoring this week by notching 56 points on Goodwell/Yarbrough.
