On Saturday, Castle beat Danville 59-47. That 59-47 margin sets a new team best for Castle this season.
Castle's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ryan Lambert led the charge by scoring 12 points along with nine rebounds. Those nine rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Adler Mcatee, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Castle's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Danville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
Castle will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Crown Point at 9:00 a.m. on December 27th. Danville and Galesburg will face off at 6:30 p.m. on December 20th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
