Baptist Hill's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sharice Blufton, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that Blufton scored 15 or more points. Malaya Hill was another key contributor, scoring six points along with seven steals.
St. John's is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. As for Baptist Hill, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
