Taft is 0-6 against Shroder Paideia Academy since April of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Senators will be playing at home against the Jaguars at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Taft took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Riverview East Academy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Senators came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hawks on Monday, sneaking past 5-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Senators.
Meanwhile, Shroder Paideia Academy entered their tilt with Lockland on Monday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over the Panthers. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Ja'Rod Reynolds was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Reynolds was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with five stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

Hutchinson is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least two every time he's taken the field this season. Calil Moody was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
Shroder Paideia Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .645. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .552 or higher in four consecutive matches.
Shroder Paideia Academy pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 7 runs. As for Taft, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
