The biggest upset of the week belonged to St. John's, who took down 109th ranked Kinkaid, 27-21.
Fort Worth Country Day moved up to 548 from 603 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Southwest Prep - South. The Falcons were able to make move up by besting Trinity Valley 33-14.
St. Andrew's's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Carter Tomsu threw for 234 yards and Rhodes Legg had 112 yards receiving. On the ground Robert Hunter chipped in 252 yards. John Covert helped St. Andrew's' passing attack out by catching three balls for 65 yards.
The Crusaders' Tomsu and Legg have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Tomsu has thrown for 1993 yards this season, while Legg has 52 catches for 938 yards. The Mavericks' Nathan Avery leads the league in rushing yards with 1086.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place St. John's takes on second place Kinkaid. St. John's bested the Falcons last week, while the Falcons fell to St. John's.
Stephen Consoli of the Houston Christian's is a few catches away from breaking 1,000 yards for the season. He needs only 73 receiving yards in this week's game against All Saints to get there. He has recorded 56 catches for 927 yards this year.
In 83 carries Logan Smith has accumulated 911 yard this year.
Entering into this week's contest against the Saints, Alex Roys is short just 184 passing yards to break 2,000 on the season. So far this year, Roys has thrown for 1816 yards with 15 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
