The biggest upset of the week belonged to Rim of the World, who took down 231st ranked Rim of the World, 49-41. Sty Hairston threw for eight yards, ran for 361 yards and caught three passes for 78 yards in the win.
Paul Bradvica and Zachary Kelvington provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Rubidoux. The connection went for 80 yards, the longest such play in Mountain Valley this season.
Notre Dame's dynamic duo of Bradvica and Kelvington proved tough for the Falcons to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Bradvica threw for 247 yards and one touchdown and Kelvington had 111 yards receiving. Dakota Mai helped Notre Dame's passing attack out by catching five balls for 71 yards.
Jacob Taylor was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 38 carries, he ran for 389 yards as the Fighting Scots lost to Rubidoux. Jobani Barrios also contributed to the rushing game with 21 yards on the ground.
5-foot-9 quarterback Bradvica of Notre Dame is the league leader in passing yards this season with 2173. He has also thrown 23 touchdowns. On the ground, Rim of the World's Taylor has rushed for 2696 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Mario Winbush-Moreno. The Jurupa Hills star has 41 catches for 588 yards.
Citrus Valley moved up to 392 from 428 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Mountain Valley. The Blackhawks were able to make move up by topping Jurupa Hills 28-21.
