The biggest upset of the week belonged to Orlando Christian Prep, who took down 460th ranked International Community, 35-30.
Seffner Christian led Sunshine State - South in scoring this week after putting up 47 points on Windermere Prep. Caleb Newman threw for 133 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran for 129 yards in the win.
He was 6-12 with 0 interceptions.
Ray Shaw was the best receiver in the league this week as the Comets lost to the Warriors. Shaw tallied 2 receptions for 53 yards. Joseph McGee helped International Community's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 12 yards.
International Community's Matthew Sharpe and McGee led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Sharpe has thrown for 799 yards this season, while McGee has 26 catches for 664 yards. Master's Academy's Brandon Dickens leads the league in rushing yards with 984.
Dickens of the the Eagles is only 16 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 101 carries Dickens has accumulated 984 yard this year.
A big matchup in Sunshine State - South this week will be when Orlando Christian Prep takes on Santa Fe Catholic. At the moment, Guerschom Demosthenes' team is in third, while the Hawks are in sixth.
The Warriors made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 12,098 from 12,554. The improvement was largely due to a 35-30 victory over Randy Alligood's team last week.
