White County is 0-10 against Upperman since April of 2019 but things could change on Monday. The Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bees at 5:30 p.m. White County is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
White County barely beat Varsity Opponent the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors put the hurt on Varsity Opponent with a sharp 11-3 win on Friday.
Cole Gentry was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Gentry was even better at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March.

In other pitching news, Matthew Wilson looked comfortable as he pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. White County is 3-1 when Wilson allows one or fewer earned runs, but 9-10 otherwise.
Back at the plate, Kaden Siebers and Kolt Norris did most of the damage at the plate: Siebers went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI, while Norris got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs. That's the most hits Siebers has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Sims, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
White County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .452. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Upperman fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against White House on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 5-4.
Upperman also got a good showing from Braiden Wolke, who tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit.
On the hitting side, Upperman saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dawson Mullins, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI. Another was Andrew Hedrick, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
Upperman's defeat dropped their record down to 13-13. As for White County, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
White County's speedy runners might be the difference in Monday's matchup. The Warriors have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Upperman, though, as they've been averaging only 0.6 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will White County continue to outrun the ball?
White County might still be hurting after the 12-0 loss they got from Upperman in their previous meeting back in March of 2025. Will the Warriors have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more baseball content.
