Harford Tech had lost four straight, but after bumping their record up to 2-4 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They put the hurt on the North Harford Hawks with a sharp 16-4 victory. The Cobras' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Lily Peters made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI.
In other batting news, Lyric Strong was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one triple. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Taylor May, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
Harford Tech always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .559. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
As for North Harford, their record is now 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered against Harford Tech since April 9, 2021.
On North Harford's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ashlie McMillan, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Tara Kirk was another, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
Harford Tech will have a chance to go back-to-back against North Harford: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
