Foard's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Davoney Dellinger, who scored 12 points along with two steals. Dellinger hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kinzer Abernathy, who scored 15 points.
North Iredell suffered their biggest defeat since November 28, 2023 on Thursday. They were the victim of a rough 51-26 loss at the hands of Hickory. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points North Iredell has scored all season.
Foard's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.2 points per game. As for North Iredell, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5.
