Wells extended their postseason success on Friday against Smith Valley. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 16-4 victory. The Leopards might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 22 matches by six runs or more this season.
Cesar Beruman made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out six batters over 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Beruman was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with two stolen bases and one run.
In other batting news, Wells got a massive performance out of Tristen Zimmerman, who went 3-for-6 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base.
