Toll Gate is 0-5 against West Warwick since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Toll Gate Titans are on the road again and play against the West Warwick Wizards at 7:00 p.m. on December 28th. Toll Gate will be strutting in after a victory while West Warwick will be coming in after a defeat.
Even though Toll Gate has not done well against Middletown recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Toll Gate walked away with a 43-31 win over Middletown.
Meanwhile, West Warwick faced Moses Brown in a battle between two of the state's top teams. West Warwick had to suffer through a rough 62-18 loss at the hands of Moses Brown. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points West Warwick has scored all season.
Toll Gate now has a winning record of 2-1. As for West Warwick, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
Toll Gate took a serious blow against West Warwick in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, falling 55-25. Can Toll Gate avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
