The Franklin Flyers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Thursday after their 13th straight loss. They suffered a  tough 52-28 defeat at the hands of Blue Hill. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  loss Franklin has suffered  against Blue Hill since February 4, 2019.
 Franklin's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Elizabeth Olson, who  scored six points along with five  rebounds.
 It was another big night for  Reece Mlady, who  scored 16 points along with seven  steals for Blue Hill. Mlady hasn't dropped below two  steals for 11 straight games. Another player making a difference was  Ellie Mangers, who  scored 13 points along with four  steals.
 Franklin's defeat was  their fifth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Blue Hill,  the  win  makes it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 6-10.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin will  take on Wilcox-Hildreth at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Hopefully Wilcox-Hildreth focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up nine last Tuesday. As for Blue Hill, they will head out on the road to  take on  Shelton at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Shelton presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Blue Hill in Nebraska (Shelton is ranked 85th, while Blue Hill is ranked 208th).
