Seeger is 2-8 against North Vermillion since October of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Patriots are taking a road trip to face off against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Seeger's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last four contests.
On Friday, Seeger humbled South Vermillion with a 56-20 victory. The Patriots' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Seeger can attribute much of their success to Tucker Herndon, who rushed for 149 yards and three TDs on only ten carries, and Jacob Salts, who rushed for 80 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only seven carries. That's the most rushing yards Herndon has posted since back in August.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Seeger was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 278 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in five consecutive games.
Seeger didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Garrett Wontor, Austin Thomas, and Peyton Grimmett picked up one apiece.
Meanwhile, North Vermillion fell victim to Fountain Central and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Mustangs, falling 51-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Falcons have suffered against the Mustangs since November 4, 2016.
Seeger's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points over those games. As for North Vermillion, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
Things could have been worse for Seeger, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 37-22 loss to North Vermillion in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Patriots avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
