Cedar had won eight straight games and Everett Kelling did his part to make it nine on Friday. The Reds came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 41-35 W against the Juab Wasps thanks in part to Kelling, who rushed for 196 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 168 yards and one TD. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 52 yards.
Cedar's record now sits at 9-0. As for Juab, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-2.
