While Trego didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-23), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Northern Valley Huskies by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The Golden Eagles haven't had any issues with the Huskies recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Trego easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-18.

Trego's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Northern Valley, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Trego has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against St. John's/Tipton Catholic on the 20th. As for Northern Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Osborne on the 20th.
