The Alta Vista Charter Lobos gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They took down James Madison Preparatory School 52-36.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Alta Vista Charter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Juan Coronado, who scored 15 points along with 8 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kevin Molina, who scored 8 points along with 4 steals.
Alta Vista Charter's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for James Madison Preparatory School, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Alta Vista Charter will head out on the road to face off against South Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for James Madison Preparatory School, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Tri-City Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m.
