West Lauderdale was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Scott Central apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2014.
Azaeliyah Lyles was her usual excellent self, scoring 17 points for Scott Central.
West Lauderdale has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for Scott Central, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.
West Lauderdale will head out on the road to face off against Union at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Scott Central, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Forest at 6:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Mississippi (Forest is ranked 117th, while Scott Central is ranked 126th).
