Latta entered their tilt with Carvers Bay on Tuesday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They were the clear victors by a 17-3 margin over the Bears. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won eight matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

Caden Lee looked comfortable as he tossed 3.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Seth Minshew, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Latta: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three hits, but 6-7 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Fisher Richardson, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Latta always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Carvers Bay only posted an OBP of .417.

Latta pushed their record up to 14-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Carvers Bay, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Latta will take on Dillon at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Carvers Bay does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
