The third road match was the charm for Teton, as they earned their first road win of the season. Everything went their way against the Ririe Bulldogs on Tuesday as the Teton Timberwolves made off with an 11-2 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Teton also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2022.
Calli Wombacher tossed a big game, striking out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits (and not a single walk).
On the hitting side, Kara Webster was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and a triple. Another player making a difference was Kadence Hansen, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-4.
The victory got Teton back to even at 3-3. As for Ririe, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Teton will square off against Kimberly at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Kimberly is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season. As for Ririe, they will head out on the road to face off against West Side at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
