Winning always takes teamwork, but on Wednesday Tyler Lucas stepped things up a notch to give Alden the 'W'. Lucas was dynamite, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs, two RBI, and one double. He also put up two hits, which were his first of the season.

Lucas' strong effort led Alden over Cleveland Hill and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs are 8-2 against the Golden Eagles going back to May of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
