Basketball Recap: Bethany Christian Wins Going Away Against South Bend Career Academy

There's no place like home for Bethany Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the South Bend Career Academy Trailblazers 63-37 on Thursday. That 26 point margin sets a new team best for the Bruins this season.

Bethany Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Trey Caffee led the charge by going 10 of 17 en route to 22 points and three steals. That's the most steals Caffee has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Zane Parson, who went 10 for 17 on his way to 21 points and three steals.

Bethany Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.6 points per game.
