The Steele Comets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Midview Middies at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Steele suffered their biggest defeat since November 25, 2023 on Saturday. Their tough 62-39 loss to North Ridgeville might stick with them for a while. Steele has struggled against North Ridgeville recently, as their game on Saturday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 50-22, which was the final score in Midview's tilt against Olmsted Falls on Saturday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Midview has scored all season.
Steele's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Midview, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
