Football Recap: St. Michael Piles Up the Points Against Port Allen

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Michael). They blew past the Port Allen Pelicans 56-0 on Friday. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 20 points or more this season.

St. Michael's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Port Allen, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. St. Michael will venture away from home to square off against Brusly at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Port Allen, they will challenge Collegiate at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Port Allen will be up against Collegiate's rather soft defense (which has allowed 51.25 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
