Mountain View has gone 8-2 against Capital recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Mavericks will challenge the Golden Eagles at 6:30 p.m. Mountain View is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.
Capital will be up against a hot Mountain View squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Mavericks put the hurt on Borah with a sharp 7-1 win on Thursday. The Mavericks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

Owen Perry tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
On the hitting side, Preston Flournoy was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Carson Lupton, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Mountain View kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Capital lost 8-1 to Middleton on Thursday. The Golden Eagles haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
Caden Werner made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.
Capital's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Mountain View, their record is now 12-7.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Mountain View has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Capital struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Mountain View couldn't quite get it done against Capital when the teams last played back in March as they fell 9-4. Can the Mavericks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
