Despite the loss, Bryan still got an impressive performance from Gavin Jaessing, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Sam Herold, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Bryan has not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Liberty Center, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bryan won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on February 3rd. Bath is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. Fairview will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 549th, while the Tigers are ranked 221st).
