It was a good run, but the Tse' Yi' Gai Dine Warriors unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They received a tough blow as they fell 55-36 to To'hajiilee. Tse' Yi' Gai has not had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Despite the loss, Tse' Yi' Gai still got an impressive performance from Alicia Ramon, who scored 13 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ramon has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Brienna Toledo, who scored eight points.
Tse' Yi' Gai's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-5. As for To'hajiilee, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tse' Yi' Gai's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Silverbacks at 6:30 p.m. on February 1st. As for To'hajiilee, they will take on the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in New Mexico (Pine Hill is ranked 91st, while the Warriors are ranked 80th).
