Denby had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Everything went their way against the University Prep Art & Design Mustangs as they made off with a 62-41 win. Given the Tars' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 212th, while the Mustangs are ranked 574th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Denby's record now sits at 15-6. As for University Prep Art & Design, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-17.

Looking ahead, Denby will square off against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lincoln will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something Denby surely won't give up without a fight. University Prep Art & Design does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
