After failing to score in their last match, Shelby made sure to put some goals up on the board against River Valley on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 4-1 victory. Considering Shelby's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Ashley Montgomery and Natalie Kennard scored all four of Shelby's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Shelby's win bumped their record up to 4-2-2. As for River Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-1.

Shelby wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, an 8-1 loss against Clear Fork on the 15th. As for River Valley, they have also already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against Highland on the 15th.
